Attrezzeria Trentina was the first company in the Trentino–Alto Adige region to adopt wire electro erosion technology for the cutting of metals, of any hardness. Many years ago the company introduced a 3D design system which enables a virtual simulation of all the movements of the automation device or die, before manufacture. This has enabled the manufacture of increasingly complex dies and automation systems and

gives the design department the possibility to exchange data and 3D mathematical models in any digital format. At the same time as the 3D CAD technology, a 3D CAM project was developed for the programming of the work stations. We are now able to reproduce any surface and arrange set ups for the most complex of plastic components. The electro erosion machines are also programmed with CAM systems. The production department is equipped with a dimensional control machine which enables, when necessary, both the control of the parts machined and the inspection of the parts produced by the dies for test sampling.
